Human and Robots: A Glimpse into the Future

The future isn't defined yet. After seing the movie I, Robot, I can't stop questioning myself what the robots of the future will bring us. Humans are curious beings, so we will acquire new advanced generations of robots any time soon.

Can real people live near humanoid robots side by side? In that case scenario, I don't see why not. My only question is what happens when software breaks down or the robot gets a virus? Should we fear for our life?

Is love between humans and robots possible? Do you think you will be able to love an artificial being?
Do you think the robot will ever be able to respond to your feelings? So many questions...

What happens when robots produce robots? Isaac Asimov considered this idea when he elaborated the three laws of robotics in his books:

1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey any orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
